Wu Tang Center for Therapeutic Arts and Education (WCTAE) a 501c3 corporation uses Ancient Chinese arts and philosophies as interventions to enhance emotional and physical wellness without regard of a clients ability to pay. This includes the use of a variety of ancient Chinese arts and philosophies that enhance mental well being, creativity, balance of left and right brain in all tasks, personal balance and mobility, situational awareness, safety consciousness, self regulation, self discipline, enhance mental acuity, self reliance, self defense and confidence of any and all people from all walks of life. We at WCTAE combine the strengths of Western analytical science, with one of the oldest civilized philosophical and artistic approaches known to the world, ancient Chinese philosophy. The Story Behind Our Community Service Program

Wu Tang Center for the Therapeutic Arts and Education was founded in order to further the quest of Grandmaster Liu which embodied the Daoist idea that each individual should fulfill their intended path. This is accomplished by accepting both personal Ju gifts and shortcomings using deep cultural arts and education in order to fully round the mind body and spirit into a focused and accomplished addition to humanity. Ancient Chinese arts such as Martial arts, calligraphy, music, painting and any expression that integrates the Mind Body and Spirit to accomplish any intention. Grandmaster Liu passed this quest to his direct disciples such as Tony Yang seen standing next to the Grand Master in 1972 after the Wu Tang center was established (Wu Tang sign above their heads). Tony Yang proceeded to pass such passion onto the founders of this nonprofit organization, James Rodgers, Rita Bowling and Joe Mullin, both James and Rita have disciples of their own and the cycle continues.
